Q – What is Mythmaker when you strip away all the tropes and trappings of storytelling?
A – Just another RPG system—not so different from a hundred others, maybe. Although, we hope you will find it as easy to learn as we intended. Because it’s really all about those stories we tell together. That’s what we hope you will remember; the adventures you had in another life, and the fun you had with your friends, making your own myths.
Below are the three adventures scheduled for 2024.
IN THE BLOOD
The Viking lass Hervor petitions Angantyr's ghost for his sword
Our first adventure will be a Viking tale, right out of the old sagas. Starting in the village of Bjarfrost, In the Blood, borrows from the myth of Hervor. It centers on her choice to seek out her father’s legendary sword Tyrfing. Mythmaker is perfect for adapting such tales from our ancestors into the RPG experience.

THE CURSED DELL or THE BANDIT'S GAMBLE
Our second adventure borrows loosely from early Medieval folklore and mythology from the Northern region of what is now Germany. It doesn’t follow any one myth, as does In the Blood. It is the story of a party of adventurers exploring the mysteries and dangers of an isolated town and the surrounding countryside.
The Keep before the storm
Mythmaker is ideal for spinning a whole new mythic yarn from recycled wool. We will show you how to take a few ideas from folklore and give yourself license to literally play it to the hilt.
THE SEA WITCH, THE WARLOCK, AND THE WIZARD
Our third adventure is made 'out of whole cloth'. It's a lengthy tale set in an imaginary realm, the ‘pocket world’ of Aerda. Three competing figures plot to take over the Isle of Mictma. A party of young adventurers comes forth to defy these outsiders, but only fate knows if they will succeed.
